It's really not that hard man....

Purchase a Stage kit (either OTTP or ZZP)

Select a pulley size (2.8" is most common)
Select larger injectors (60's)
Send them your PCM to get flashed with their tune.

Bam you just modded your car

If you need any help please feel free to ask me.
^ that. Plus turbo setup is like 5x more than i wanna spend.

its probably looking moar complicated than it is because i'm trying to answer the same q's he is so it can get confusing haha.

also, if you want the LSJ power handbook just shoot me a pm and i can sell it to you. ike i said, it has the full 9 yards on how to do the stage 2 with pics. made it super easy to understand.

A must have for all LSJ owners.

I have used that book more times than I can count.

He should be able to help you out then.

The hardest part is removing the stock pulley & pressing on the new hub.

From start to finish it will take you a few hours if you install a whole kit from scratch.

(the 60s and 2.8 put the header and downpipe on before hand) chevycobaltss3 will tune you for $150 bucks since it's a meet. make decent power for cheap drive back home happy after our winter get together. :

Stock Donaldson intake w/ modified airbox & K&N E-0777 filter.

I've tested many intakes in my day.

I never had any CEL issues with any of them (although some do).

when you installed all your other intakes, what had the best fitment? Im looking for a nice intake that gives me that whiney sound but i cant afford to have a cel go off.

The best fitment intakes I tested were the AEM intake & Injen intake hands down.

Injen:

AEM:

The older versions of the Injen intakes sucked, but their updated one fits great when properly installed.

The AEM intake only replaces the stock airbox and retains the upper portion of the stock piping. It porduces the same gains as all the other intakes.

The worst fitting intake I tested was the R.A.W. 3" stainless steel intake.

You should be safe from CEL's with any of the name brand intakes fyi.

Hey man just seen you are gonna mod, that's awesome!! Like stated earlier going with a kit is ur best bet if your new too everything. Personally I decided to go with the ZZP kit. I got 2.8, dual pass and 60's. Got a ported and polished blower and a custome CCSS3 tune. You will be happy when you are done. If I were you I would go ahead and do intake and exhaust to really get the use out of your kit and tune. If you need any help feel free to ask and welcome to the forum!!

I always ran a hydroshield on my filters.

The photos I posted were before I added the shield.

Injen & K&N sell filters that directly fit their filters.

Just look up the filter part number on either site & order the shield for it.
