If your worried about the engine, dont go much farther than a intake, header / downpipe system and exhaust...

To support stg.2
1. intake
2. header/ dp
3. catback
To HELP prevent blowing your motor with stg.2
1. Front mount heat exchanger (OTT/ZZP,etc.)

That is as far as I would go if your worried about blowing but you could alway do bolt on like, motor, tranny mounts, short throw shifter, sturt bar, etc.

Add a Dual Pass to that list along with the HE. Both are very good investments.

if you worried about blowing up your car dont mod your car at all, accidents happen, but as long as you know what your doing you should be fine.

thats correct. Once you start modding the car **** will break. I'm putting in tvs supercharge soon and i know my engine is going to blow sooner or later, the question is when. But a Cold Air Intake is a mod i would suggest first.

Cooling mods cool boost, cooler boost means a decreased chance of detonation, less detonation means no engine kaboom

ya i mean, you can look at my sig and see that my build is pretty solid, and the kid that tuned my car put a good one on it, a similiar one neted him 274 whp, but last night i hit some naaaasty kr coming through second gear, so i got off it and were gonna tweak the tune today. dont be afraid to break ****, just be ready to fix it.

No its not...

there are more than 10 people running higher than 300hp...

**** doesnt break if you take your time to do things right.

Rules to follow when modding a car.

1. DONT MOD A CAR UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO BREAK SOMETHING!
2. Dont try mods beyond your abilities/comfort/knowledge.
3. Double check and research everything before you do anything.
4. TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE, 90% of peoples cars who blow up arent properly tunned.

You have GM stage 2 tune, which to my knowledge has blown up maybe one car, so its a very safe tune that for the most part you cant make blow up the car unless you drastically increase the boost.
