Stage 2 and Slipping
a lawsuit will never happen because the simple fact, people are RACING the car. it's called abuse, gm will laugh at you.
trying to sue a car maker over a part they don't make in the first place isn't going to happen. it's like trying to sue mcdonalds because your fries were cold when you got home.

Then we agree on that lawsuit there will never be one. Well there are lots of parts that gm does not make. Delphi is a big supplier if there even still around last I heard they were filing chapeter 11. that is imaterial. the warranty states that brakes and clutch amoung others are not warranty items period.
Funny thing is your trying to argue something that I already said.
K lets shelf that topic. its dead.
When I said I can see a lawsuit coming I was sacrastic. you seemed to be suggesting why isnt there one since all the problems.

I only had 500 miles on the car when I made that 14.8 run (which was my 1st time on the track with the SS/SC, and my 3rd and last run of the night).
Then weeks later 2 more runs, and weeks after that 1 more run. That's it.
But try and tell that to the "racing pros"
It's also TRUE that before most of these big mouthed nubs were even born, I was driving and racing:
- '69 Nova SS - Manual Transmission w/350 'Vette engine
- '69 Mustang Mach 1 - Auto w/390 engine
- '71 Datsun 240-Z - Manual Transmission
And then later on:
- '82 Mustang GT - Manual Transmission
- '83 Mustang GT - Manual Transmission
- '85 Mustang GT - Manual Transmission
- '93 Mustang LX 5.0 - Manual Transmission
- '95 Mustang Cobra - Manual Transmission
- '04 Dodge SRT-4 - Manual Transmission
- '06 Ford Focus ST - Manual Transmission
We have a phrase for new firefighters that have too many "inexperienced" opinions to offer:
"Get some time on the job proby".
So now to the "under experienced" racers(?) on this forum who have WAYYY too many opinions to offer:
"Get some freakin time behind the wheel nubs".
wanna compare experience?

my point is simple. before you call some one out on what you "think" you know. you had better do some more research on who you're calling a n00b.

As for clutch slip, mine is completely gone.

are you saying Area has a small *****?
thats the mods on his car. not mine.
im the tuner with this car. the manifold on his car was hand ported a lot more than a gm one.
im over 280 whp on a stock clutch as well.
you can't race dyno numbers. get over it. everyone. well majority of the people on here are so hell bent on dyno numbers, they over look the fact that. A. those numbers mean dick on the street. B. i don't care. C. i don't feel the need to justify what i do, or what i put down to the tire.
im not trying to be a dick here, but numbers only get you so far.
want another reason why?
when my car put down a mind blowin 245 hp to the tire. i pulled on a redline that put down 266.
21 hp difference? possibly. whatever it may be.
another case. same dyno numbers on my end, i ran m-dub who put down 2 less hp than me, and i walked all over him, without a reach around.
two cases in which dyno numbers do not mean a thing.
so i pose this question to everyone. why dyno?
{this is not directed at you, so don't take it as such}
the difference between a dynojet and a mustang is 12%.

My point was that your not putting out 280 like you say then what your telling me is you could be 300? I said way back show me a slip I dont care what you dyno (still have not seen a slip or where I could find it. Just curious especially your 60 ft. I put down 2.1 on stock meats. now tell me I dont know how to drive or that my clutch is slipping in first and to second lol)
the point of dynoing should be done on the same day and same dyno. do the first pull, make changes (exhaust or what ever), and then do another pull. the closer together the better. This is an old debate that most people on here know how a dyno should be used. dyno days are cool too just to see what puts out more.
but bottom line we will agree - show me the times. that impresses me far more.
