can you buy just the stage 2 tune from gm, if you buy the injectors and the hub and belt from somplace else? is there a part # or anything like that? thanks

 

No , GM stage tunes only come with stage 1 and 2 kits .The kits have a code that they have to call into gm to get the flash . Maybe some on could copy the tune with hptuners but im not sure .

 

I was under the impression you could buy additional tunes from GM, say if you had to swap out PCMs or bought another car and swapped over your stage 2 stuff, now you have a different VIN and need to reflash with a new VCI.

Call you're local dealer, most of them aren't really into the performance aspect of car maintenance but you might get someone who could answer it.
