ok so i just got back from memphis for my stage 2 install, here is my opinion on the kit-

1. my car does not wheelhop/tirespin anymore than when it was stock, i can launch at the exact same RPM. that simply amazed me

2. the new power is def. addicting, you can really feel it as the tach hits about 3,500, and its all the way to 7,000

3. the 7,000 redline does wonders for the 1-2 shift, this should add up to quite a bit faster times at the track

4. if you are in the tennessee area, go to serra chevrolet, their techs are the best i have encountered yet, and gave me by far the best price on install around here, highly highly recommended

kit is well worth the money

yeah ive noticed wheel hop isnt so bad at all, plus ive got the polymounts so im sure there doin there job, not sure if im gonna get the motor mount yet. Even shifting from 2nd to 3rd with stage 2 is much cleaner.

 

The stage 2 was worth every penny!

So do you have a CAI on it yeat as I felt the made the STG 2 kit complete, When I got the car from the dealer after STG2 was installed it was better but 2 days later I installed a Injen CAI & man that topped off the STG install.

I'd tell anyone that installs STG 1 or 2 to put a CAI on as it should be standard with the kit

 

no i havent put on a "CAI" i know i have beaten this horse enough, but i am not sold on the CAI bandwagon yet

 

Well I know GM had the stock SS/SC rich to start off & then with the STG kit they fed the system more boost which equals more air but then they added larger injectors so it is still fat so with the CAI I noticed a even greater increase in power.
Check around & ask afew people but I know it helped my Cobalt and the SC Tahoe I had

Your saying you eliminated wheel hop.. You must of rubbed it off on me.

I have no CAI and the SC whines like crazy. I wonder what it sounds like with one?

It sounds great & it turns heads now when you drive by someone

For me it seemed to add MPG as when I had the STG 2 installed it appeared to drip 1 or 2 MPG & then I added the CAI I it gained like 4 MPG as I'll find out on this trip To Wisconsin Today

 

YOU HAVE TO GET ONE! It will put a smile on your face EVERY time you step on the gas. I know what your saying, but I would spend the money again just to I could get the sound. If I would have known it made such a drastic improvement (in sound) I would have put one on a LONG time ago!!!
