stage 2 vs supporting mods
i have about 800 bucks and am wondering should i go with a new cobra h/e, ingalls td, new motor mounts, and a hurst short throw..... or do i go with the stage 2 and no supporting mods?
i have a full gmmp performance exhasut with the extruded honed manifold coming next week
if i did the supporting mods i would probibly run the stage 3 pulley and already have the extra cooling and wheel hop wouldnt be a problem. and the stage 2 would come right after christmas.

yah def. stage 2, the hurst and any short throw is a waist of money...honestly the shifter isnt any shorter than your stock but it might look a little bit better...the heat exchanger isnt really needed till you go below 3.0 pulley and the traction mods at best all you would need is a ingalls tq dampner does the work just fine

well at first its not much but then when u hit second gear it pulls alot harder and for alot longer to that 7 thousand rpm rev limiter is sex on wheels...and that is no joke...it feels alot different
i had a friend who had a bmw who i raced when i was just with an intake and exhaust well we were dead even with me pulling like half a fender sometimes and what not..when i didnt tell him i got stage 2 i pulled 3 cars on him easy and hard

yes exactly maybe even beating him because of that 7,000 rev limiter it is a world of difference...
also if i were you i would get a oil change right after you get that stage 2 done
say run it for a day and then go get a oil change...and youll be set to go

i honestly forgot the reason now but it has to do something with the fuel injectors getting changed and there being more fuel coming through the car...but im not exactly sure this is just something i heard
