I know the pcm for stage3 is locked but has anybody at least tried to unlock it?

Buy a spare comp for 30 dollars and go from there.

 

i don't get why people would get gm stage 3, a/c problem can be fixed but it's a hassle. the highest gm stage 3 i've seen that dyno'd with race gas was 273whp or something. i am over 300whp and all i am running is a 45wet shot and running the fuel jet rich so i am safe. jesus just go buy a brand new nos sniper kit on ebay like i did for $285 and get gm stage 2 + 2.8 and mod your stock airbox and you will be over 300whp.
