NO because its not out yet, so theres no numbers

it will yield the same results as most other setups with similar pulley sizes

and as far as fixing bugs its GM so you never know what your going to get

I am in the midst of the install right now. Does anyone know what is holding the bottom of the intake manifold? It got too late on me last night to crawl under and find out what is holding it. I have the cal and the pulley, and they were strong, now I am doing the intercooler update. No dyno #'s yet.

There is a 15mm bolt on the bottom, near the block, holding the manifold on.

My buddies were at NOPI (I was deployed), and GM put the Stage 3 cobalt on the dyno. It laid down 250whp WITHOUT the juice.

I realy want that PCM. It's a good tune for a 2.9" pulley and the 100 octane tune is cool too.

Oh, forgot about the nitrous control.

Yeah dude, I am really digging the PCM. If I do plan on a stage kit I will go with a GM Stage 2 with a 2.9" and prolly that PCM. Adjustable rev limiter, thats the badass part. I would have no prolem taken the head apart and putting in some valve springs and some new retainers.

For those of us with hp tuners its not even worth it, i mean its a nice toy that you can do it through the steering wheel but with 650 being already spent on the HP tuners it dont make sense to spend more and for only taking 2 min to change its easy enough already

also the fuel and timing maps the way i understand it when you set the high octane 100 one if theres knock it reverts back to the 93 table, this could easily be acheived in hp tuners by loading upped timing into the high octane table and then copying the current high octane table to the low octane, it does the same thing

as for nitrous, ill never do that to my motor

The dual pass plate though is very useful

whats the point in even having a pulley thats only 1mm smaller, will that even make 1 more psi? prob not

the point is you can swap out pulleys like most people have done with stage 1+2. you dont need to run a 3" pulley, go down to 2.8" or even lower if you choose.

well you dont need to have any of the GM stage kits to have the option to go lower, lowest pulley ive seen made for the gm kits is 2.79

besides from what ive seen of stage 2 flashes and the stock flash, im not real impressed with gm tunes, for instance my injector duty cycle is at 127% on a purely stock car 1 month off the lot, explain to me how thats well designed

not too sure where the well designed part comes in, this was about stage kits, but even still that is ridiculous about the injectors

i know theres the options of intense kits as well but i want to maintain the warranty for as long as possible.

everyone is giving the gm tunes a bad rap and rightly so but has anyone done a dyno since having updated to the new stage reflash? if anyone had a before and after im sure there would be some sort of difference. everyone with the reflash is reappreciating the cars power right after doing the flash so im curious to see just how much tweaking took place. if they went more agressive with the tune I can only imagine how much more agressive they went with the stage 3 pcm

I have a ZEX dry nitrous system set up for a 55hp shot. I have been able to get the full throttle trigger to work propely so I havent installed it yet. Does anyone know if GM's stage 3 pcm has a seperate wire that controls nitrous activation at full throttle, or if the pcm only has a setting for increased spark/fuel when running the jucie? Any help would be appriciated

from what I understand it has a trigger and by default will only run after a certain rpm level and only within 500rpm of the max redline setting.

Damn I was thinking that Gm would step up and make this stage kit put down numbers into the 300's. Kind of a downer :/.
