Question Stage 5 ??

i saw that there is a stage5 intense tune or something like that for the Saturn Ion Red Line.. is there also a stage5 for the balt?? i would think so since the two cars are identical internally but i havent seen anything on or about it.. if there is how much in price is it?? what mods does it all come with?? what power gains are expected from it?? thanks guys

LSJ-INT-PSC - INTENSE™ Ported M62 Gen V Supercharger Housing
LSJ-MSS-625 - Machined Gen V M62 Supercharger Snout
LSJ-INT-SCO - INTENSE™ Supercharger Oil (8oz)
GVC-GMT - GM Gasket Maker
LSJ-IMH-090 - INTENSE™ LSJ Modular Pulley System
LSJ-IMP-250 - INTENSE™ 2.50" pulley
LSJ-STP-630 - Oversized Supercharger Tensioner Pulley
LSJ-ASP-3922 - AutoliteŽ Copper Core Spark Plugs (recommended gap = .035")
LSJ-FIS-600-4 - Siemens 60 pound/hour Fuel Injectors
LSJ-CIH-102155 - Casper's LSJ Injector Wiring Harness
INTENSE™ Stage 5 LSJ PCM

Thats everything inculded in the kit, and yes it will work with the cobalt. Their dyno numbers show 270whp, and 275 wtq. However, I would reccomend getting your own dyno tune done as can tunes arent very good. The price is $999.99. Good luck if you purchase it. I would also reccomend all the supporting mods and cooling mods that you can afford before you go that route.

The Cobra HE is a GREAT mod to do... cheap... and easy... provides great results... helped our club pres. do his... it's next on my list.

As far as Intense goes... stay away from their stuff... get someone to custom tune you if you are gonna go Stage 5... esp. at high altitute... you could be in for big trouble...

we've got another club member here in town who is in the process of a complete teardown/rebuild b/c he blew apart a piston running Intense stage 3...

I'd call that intense alright.

I have this kit for my cobalt the dyno resuls were not to good 233 to the weels, but later i found out that I had a blown piston ring so i havent had chanse to put it in dyno again.
if you don't send your parts ahead of time you will have to pay about 2,000 up front, untill they recive your old parts. now i got new engine, and i'm boosting 20lb. I don't regret geting this kit

wouldnt it be easier if you just actually went to the Intense website and look for yourself instead of starting a thread??

IMO thats not true at all. ebay is known to have mods that dont do ****. my brothers easily wasted $300 plus on fake parts for his SRT-4 on ebay that ended up not doing anything at all. you got to watch yourself on there

Search eBay for "cobra heat exchanger"... You will usually find a used stock one or two among some of the upgrade units. Here's one:

Oh crap, sorry to hijack the thread; but this would be a good supporting mod for anyone looking to go the route of Intense's Stage 5.

You can make your own brackets or buy them from BWoody Performance.

I was doing donuts in reverse inside of a dry lake,I had a fulita air intake, that caused to get alot of dust insede of my engine. I think that was the reason why I had a bad piston.
GM covered everithing, so I got lucky, they even put a new supercharger.
