Stage kit backorder?
OK so i went down to my chevy dealership the other day thinking I was gona get my GM stage 1 and 2 ordered. Well after i told the parts guy wat i wanted he did his little thing on the computer and then turned to me and said that the stage kits were curently unavailible and on backoder?!?!....needless to say i was like wtf. Ive e-mailed GM 3 times so far tring to see if there is any truth to this and have yet to get a response. Any of you guys know wat the deal is?....is this true or do i need to go back and slap this guy for leading me on a wild goose hunt. Also, dose GM make an intake for the SS/SC?....kind of wondering cause i realy want one but i dont want to screw up my warranty or anything. Any and all info would be much appreciated

dood, don't buy it thru your dealer...they will rip you off. There are a lot of vendors out there now that sell stage 2, and the dealer can still install it for you and keep the warranty.

Here is what most or all GM dealers should see when they look up the part number for the Stage 2 kit 17803229. The bottom line is the most important line that we use. The guy might not know what he was doin.
