Stage kit that does not require new plugs?

Are there any stage kits that use the stock plugs?
Sadly my head has a helicoil in it and I was told I won't be able to replace the plugs again, without replacing the head.
But I would like more hp.

Thanx!

What? so they heliacoiled the threads for the spark plugs or just one? Spark plugs are kind of important to the stage kits.. I think even stage one requires you to change them (i think).

omg thats horrible u should be able to replace the spark plugs if fixing the threads was done right u should be able to change the spark plugs just like it wasnt broken ! i know from experience i did that for one of my friends and till this day its still running great and he swapped plugs already !

to answer ur question :

GM stage 1, 2 & 3 dont require u to change the plugs but its good if u do...

aftermarket stage kits, yes u will need to change...

I was thinking aftermarket.. gm stage kits are overpriced, and seeing how he got heliacoiled spark plug(s) threads and they don't want him to change spark plugs, warranty is lacking.

You should still be able to remove and reinsert plugs with a Helicoil in there. Thats a thread substitute.

ok whole story, i went to changing the plugs one day, got my car with 57k on it..
out comes a helicoil WTF!!!
It was still on the plug so i took it to the dealer, they said sure we will do a timecert
i was like awsome...
get the call the next day to pick it up, ok its done, however i was wrong we do helicoils so it has a new helicoil in it and it's set.
However if you go to change plugs again its probally gonna pop back out so when it comes time you should think about getting a new head.

and thats how the story went....

I would have told them I didn't want to pay for a helicoil I wanted a timecert and now you gotta fix it for me. see this is why I don't like the dealerships they just do **** with talking to the customer and letting them know

i bet the threads were fine when they popped it out, so they didnt want to do the timecert they just threaded another helicoil right back in the hole.

I know they didn't take the head off my car when they did the helicoil, so they probably didn't cut the new threads...just my guess.

oh and the very next time i came in to get a part i ordered they had a new service manager, the one who i dealt with was gone.
