Stage Kit Questions
Been a while since ive posted but cpl questions..income tax time is right around the corner and im gunna be moddin my car some more... now only thing performance wise is my CAI i wanna get zzp's stage 3 kit but ive got some concerns..should i wait for this kit since my exhaust is stock/header all that happy crap and do header/Dp then get a stage kit?...i don't know really what route to take this is what im thinking stage wise
2.9
60's
Dual pass endplate
for the pcm not sure what option for that..im guessing sending in ur core is they tune in for u? cuz there is a guy on here who lives 25mins from me who tunes.
open to suggestion's, help would be very appreciated, cause i was gunna just go with more appearance mods but i want some power this income tax time around

The pulley size is going to be a personal preference issue. I can tell you that I have a 2.8 and I want more. LOL
60s are a good choice but some people have idle issues with them. If you're never planning on going below a 2.9 then the 50s that zzp offers would be easier to tune.
Definitely get the dual pass and consider option b.
Personally if I had someone close to me that knew how to tune our cars that would be my first choice over a mail order tune.
You're going to need the exhaust but you can do the other mods first.
I'm sure some of the experts will chime in here and correct me shortly. LOL

thanks for your input lol cuz i know what issues can happen and all that happy crap i just need advice like u mentioned 60's have idle issues get 50's that helps alot i dont want like straight up **** you power just a little more than i have and stay conservative eventually ima mod the engine to the max its my dream lol but for now til i get a better job 30-50 more hp is what im at the point as of now...i do wanna stay either 2.9 or 3.0 pulley i heard problems with anything under a 2.8 but thats all depends on your setup
Otherwise, I think you are right one with your setup. 2.9" pulley with cooling mods will really wake up the car and keep things nice and conservative.
I highly recommend finding someone close by who can help you tune the car. The canned tune you get with the stage kits will be okay and get you running but will definitely need to be refined for optimal performance and reliability.
