Stage2 Question

OK Cobalt guru's I need your help once again. My friend is returning his car to stock. Im going to be purchasing his stage2 from him. So we dont have to go through the **** of taking pulleys of and all that crap, can we just swap superchargers? And can we just swap pcm's too? So that I dont have to go pay $80 and get mine flashed by GM and he can have stock tune. Thank you guys I greatly appreciate it.

I don't know about the PCM but the SC is yes. Don't forget to get his fuel injectors too. And his shorter serpentine belt!

yeah you need the injectors too, i think you would have to go have the dealer reflash both your pcm's or someone with hp tuners to change them, otherwise you vin on your pcm wont match the one on the car itself

I can tell you its probably easier than taking off the hub and pressing on a new one.
That is a pain in the ass and a half.

No swapping PCM's though...

yeah that wont be a problem at all, they just flash the mpost up to date base tune. but ytou would have to do the uninstall of the injectors in the parking lot, cause im not sure youll be able to drive on the stock injectors with the tune for the stage 2 injectors

They could both go together, slip em a few bucks and have GM do the work.

Hell they might even find it 1/2 way interesting lol
