Steering Rack Spacers?
I have SSC Lowering Springs and I'm planning on getting the Koni front Struts and rear Shocks next month.... Should I go ahead and pick up some steering rack spacers also? I know they're pretty cheap but are they worth it? Thanks guys
Good, I've read a few posts on them and they are relatively cheap lol but I just wanted to know if they were truly worth it. If you say they are worth every cent than that answers my question. I'll look into picking up a set. Thanks man
yep I'm trying to do everything right the first time (suspension, drivetrain, engine, etc.) I don't want to leave anything out before I finish my build at the end of this year lol
Im on ssc springs now just installed em do i need the rack spacers? Besides correcting the bump steer which isn't a problem will it do anything else like keep the axles from getting messed up? Just curious im new to all this suspension stuff
thats what forums are for!
The rack spacers have nothing to do with the the transmount.
there are 2 large bolts that hold down the steering rack, remove them, place the spacer under the rack, and put the bolt back thru. its basically a shim.

no there is insufficient clearance with a stock rear mount for rack spacers. If you use really thin spacers they will fit but wont fix bump steer so whats the point? lol
