Stg 2 and 2.79 pulley?

Stg 2 and 2.79 pulley?

Is that to small of a pulley? I was reading on cobalt addiction that it is proven to run great with stage 2 re-flash because it runs rich? I just wanted to see what you guys think before I order it? Thanks

the stage 2 tune does run rich.

the 2.79 pully is to small for S2 injectors.
Injector duty cycles will definately be over 100%, possibly as high as 130%.

So far ALOT of people have run 2.8 with stage 2, including myself for a short while.
and we have yet to have anyone blow a motor from it.

but be warned. its not a "safe" route.

I would suggest 60lbers.

Alright would a 2.9 be pointless or is there a noticeable difference?

pointless is a relative term.

its not going to give you the gain that stock to stage 2 gave you, but it will be noticable.
and to get around 8-10 hp/tq from a $50 mod is disgustingly cheap HP/$

Thank you for saving my engine haha I was about to order that 2.79! but for 8-10 hp I think I will order the 2.9 thanks
