still eating intercooler fluid

ok for some reason i keep loosing about a cup daily of dex cool but only after a couple WOT runs...no leak any where and no smell or smoke..and the intercooler neck is still pressureized when it has fluid in it i'm stumped anyone?

only started happening after i went from stock pulley to 3 inch

i would imagine it would have something to do with the hotter temps

but where would it go..could it be bleeding the system out even more since i got a smaller pulley i just don't get it

Yeah...you have a leak bud, there's no way your losing that much fluid without a leak. I run a smaller pulley harder and don't "lose" anything. If you're still under warranty take her in to get everything checked out.

I would say from exp your he pump is out of order. coolant gets so hot it evaporates(Sp)

fill it just till hit hits the bottom of the T . start car .see if u see it moving ,if not get a new pump.

this one is plug and play and has a higher flow rate http://www.steeda.com/products/mezie...oler_pumps.php

deff an IC pump. pour water(easier to see in dexcool) into the T and if it doesnt flow out then the IC pump is dead

There is a way to check the pump by squeezing the tubing. If your pump has gone, there is a pump for the Lightning that is a direct replacement.

ok how noticable is should the streaming coolant be it the t neck...cause i don't think its moving??? and yeah is the replacement gonna break right awaY too????and how bout that high flow one do you still have to buy the 18 dollar peice with it or does it just mount up easily

the barbed fitting i mean do i need that too...i'm pretty sure its the pump it makes sense and like i said its hard to tell if its streaming so its probably not...

the pumps are small and work at a high temp and very hard .I got the upgrade in hopes it will last longer more then the extra flow but keeping it cooler longer is a good thing to

yes you need it . both of our hoses have clamps and can be a pain to get off.
