I had this same problem with my RL and they replaced one of my halfshafts. It hasn't done it again that i've noticed and it's been about 2 months.

usually a click when turning or under acceleration is your inner CV joint.. you do need to replace the axles, there is a way to tell which one it is

I have the same "click" noise when accelerating from a stop or while slowly moving. It's been doing that pretty much since day one of owning my car. I did have the dealer replace the half-shafts under warranty and that cleared it up for about 5 months, then the noise came back. The dealer checked them out while it was lifted up and the master tech said that there is nothing physically wrong with them; they replaced them since I kept insisting. The click is probably just a defect with them but hopefully will never affect drivability of the car.

Hmmm, my dealer gave me a BS excuse of something with my clutch assembly. AHAH, friggin idiots, I told them I wanted it in writing so that when I'm doin 120km/h down a major highway and an axle gives way, they cant say I didnt give them warning when my lawyers are on their ass!!

P.S I have the worst dealership in all of Canada I think!

that would be the clutch engaging.

also i've seen sway bars make a creeking noise when accelerating.

Mine does too.. a single click when going from a stop in 1st or reverse. Seems like it takes a certain amount of torque to make it happen. If I take off very lightly it won't do it until I put on a little more gas.

Ya I'm thinking about taking mine to the pontiac dealership too... there is one like right beside my office so its a little better anyways. I just always thought the guys who made the car and sell the car would be able to service it best. They have proved that wrong enough times and not to mention their body shop cant put a door on a car nor paint a black door BLACK..... we wont get into that though..
