today i did an oil change on my ss/sc and i measured our exhaust pipes....... the pipes are big to start with..... it starts around 2.7 inches and by the time its at the muffler its around 2.2 inches.. what im trying to say is the only way to upgrade this exhaust system is to go 3.0 the whole way and add in a high flow cat

 

I'm sure a 2.5 mandrel bent cat back would show pretty good gains as well.

 

yep that's as big as i'm going unless a twin charge kit comes my way

 

3" is to big 2.5" is perfect
