so i have this Redline and the dude just removed the muffler. does anyone know the exhaust pipe size?

so i think the search here is the worst ever. if i search for anything like exhaust size it either shows me a million threads that have the word size or it just errors. so can anyone help a brother out.

 

I believe is 2.25. Don't quote me though.

 

It depends which part of the exhaust your talking about . It's 2.5'' outside from the downpipe connection back to before the rear axle ..... from rear axle back it's 2.25''. I say outside because there are a few restrictions ..... The inlet on the stock resonater is 2 and 1/16th inch inside..... so i'm betting thats why the smaller 2.25'' GM performance exhaust shows gains even thou it's "smaller" than stock.
