Stock heat plugs range on 3.0 Pulley?
Any chance of damaging my car if I run the stock plugs? I got on it a few times and then realized I didn't install them (they r coming in today, USPS). They are 1 step colder which was suggested by ZZP.

Looks like they swapped in Autolites in the past.
For 30 bux to have confidence in my car, I'll take it lol. Plus I <3 NGK.
I must say, it seems to run better with the new plugs in. Used to studder a lot

With modified engines (those engines that have increased their compression) more heat is a by-product of the added power that normally comes with increased compression. In short, select one heat range colder for every 75-100 hp you add, or when you significantly raise compression. Also remember to retard the timing a little and to increase fuel enrichment and octane. These tips are critical when adding forced induction (turbos, superchargers or nitrous kits), and failure to address ALL of these areas
will virtually guarantee engine damage.
will virtually guarantee engine damage.

GM Stage II Setup is a 3.0 Pulley and Stock Plugs (Along with 42# Injectors and a Tune)
I'm running a 2.85" Pulley and ahve 1 step cooler plugs. Only isse you may have with running 1 step cooler plugs is that if you don't get on it as much, your plugs will get carbon buildup from not getting hot enough to burn it off. So if your running 1 step cooler plugs its occasionaly a good idea to pull them out and clean them off.
