i dunno, but they all should have. if you take the cost of the upgrades and minus the stockers it replaces and minus the extra labor it would have put the ss/sc on the map so much more and barely cost more.

I highly doubt this was ever done from the factory. Definitely heard of dealers installing S2, GMPP exhaust, etc on brand new S/Cs though.

It was not stage 2. Stage 2 was a dealer-installed option, never something that came from the factory.

Yeah it should have been, but GM was trying to match the SRT4 and their stage kits. Also that means more money for them.

Correct. ^^ from the factory it was never installed.. There were a ton of dealerships that would do the stage 2 kit as soon as they got the car on the lot however, making it an added uprgade option and adding about 1k to the price tag

Rims are the same, except they added *optional* polished wheels for 06. Interior was the same for 05 and 06. 07 had very MINOR changes.

No stage 2 from Factory.

05 Models
-SS and Supercharged badges mid way up the side doors
-gunmetal rims
-Standard High Rise
-Optional G85 package w/Recaros
06 Models
-SS and Supercharged badges on the lower part of the door
-All other options same as 05 Models
07 Models
-Revised interior(radio and steering wheel)
-Chrome rims
-Standard low rise(high rise became option)
-G85 models had the Recaro package as an option, not standard

Those are the biggest differences appearance wise. Performance wise, same.

Actually the Recaro's werent an option. They were a part of the G85 package until they simply stopped including them. SOME 07's did get them, but it was first come first serve, and not an option in any way. After that point, they cut the price of G85 in half and added heated seats.

My car has the heated seats with SS logo on them. If I ever find some Recaro's I'm transferring the heating units to them!
