stupid question

when you get the gm stage 2 kit, on the stock intake, does the supercharger get any louder? Or do i have to get some type of intake to really enjoy the loud whine?

You can remove your air cleaner box top and cut the box around the mount. That will get you the same low restriction as the CAI's that sell for $200. You will need to purchase a filter element that can be clamped on to the air cleaner mount.

just do the airbox mod if you want more sound. If you use the AEM dryflow you can have all the benefits of those CAIs but without the oil and it sounds great. I would reserve about a half hour of your time to do the mod. Check the how to section for a how to on how to do it.

i would go with the airbox mod as well. I cut a few holes in it and popped in a KandN filter and it screams now. Just costs me 50 bucks for the KandN filter.
