Has any on installed a Stage kit from Cobalt_Addiction on there SS/SC? How are there tunes and the power they put down. Im lookin to purchase one in the next few weeks. I heard Intense's tunes were kinda rich and u dont get all the power out of the kit. Let me kno. or if i should go with some one else kit let me kno who. Thx

 

I thought the intense kits ran a tad lean???? If i were you id get a the pulley and injectors and get it custom tuned.

 

But i dont kno anyone around me to get it tuned. I was thinking about Buying HP tuners and maybe do it my self. but i need to kno wut i need to do besides A/F ratio if some one could tell me what else i need, i can do it myself.

 

You will need a wideband O2 senser system at the very least if you do it. DO NOT do it without a wideband or you'll be buying a new engine.

 

Its way more than a/f, there are so many things you can tweak and change with hp tuners its sick, The best route would be to do injectors, pulley and custom tune for your vehicle, becuase the tune from CA is not tuned for a intake, or any other parst that arent included in their kit, dont get me wrong its a great kit, you might want to pm baggirl, or call CA to see what they could do for you.


My car is tuned without a wideband, has been since day one.

 

If you get a tune from one of the vendors I would seriously recomend a wideband!!!! Everyone of our cars acts different to tunes and mods. The last thing you want is to run real lean and mess up your engine.

 

Yea i plan on having a wideband o2. well i jsut have the air box mod and i will have full 3"in. header back. High flow cat and resinator.

 

I'm only saying it's not a good idea to tune without a wideband on a FI car.

Yea i dont want to run lean at all. a lil rich maybe but nothing to where it will rob Hp and Tq. i want to buy the GM stage 3 Pcm, and have the tune put on to that so i can have the NOS option with out having to placea switch and all the other stuff with it.

Im gonna havea wideband so i can keep an eye on my A/f ratio at all times. But i dont want to have cel at all. so i need to kno wut i need for everything to work properly and not get fucked up. i dont care about warrenty. **** it. Im gonna be wastin every stang and ricer that thinks here bad around here. theres a 240 sx i wanna run, so i really need to get some major work done. along with a STI and an EVO

 

Just do your research you will be fine, see what all options are out there, and what all you need to make it run right. "support mods"

 

I was the test car on all the C/A stage kits... put down some serious numbers from 241 whp to 296 whp with stage 6 and an exhaust/... whatever youi need to know just PM me..

 

Please don't mod just to beat your buddies or the other tuners in town...

 

Im doin it to show them that the cobalt isnt just another "cavi with an S/C" they talk crap about it. so i wanna show them it has a lot fo potential and its fast. not racing just like accel and stuff. nothing really illegal.
