GMPP bypass plate or GMPP manifold

Ok guys I'm putting the 2.9 pulley on this spring and I wanted to know what you guys think my next performance mod should be between the two.

Bypass plate . No performance gains but helps when going to smaller pulley and saves motor.

Exhaust manifold gives 4hp and 6 ft punds of torque.

With my mods which one would you guys choose for my next mod?

Get the dual pass....will help keep you cool after you run it up with the 2.9

Go with the dual pass or a heat exchanger. Both will help support future mods. Also look at getting true header. Same price as an extruned honed manifold, but yeilds more HP

Why did gm also give us a **** clutch that can barely handle stock power? Things jsut don't make sense sometimes

Probably has to do with the cat and emissions.

If you dont want to chance losing your warranty, then forget about the heat exchanger and go with the dual pass end plate. If anything non-GM is on your car, they try and screw you, ie. (heat exchanger, 2.9 pulley). Im not sure if a header voids the warranty, as long as it still has the catalyst system I think you should be ok. You might want to ask the dealership first.

that's funny "ask the dealership first". Those guys are such ******** that any thing hast to do with making the car faster and even if it is a GMPP they still say no to and won't even want to hear it

The ingalls helps alot with wheel hop on a stock car. You have about the same mods ive got, and I still get wheel hop ocasionanly. Im going to make my own poly mounts this winter. That should just about eliminate wheel hop

At the track last summer I was running around 14 flat. On my areoforce ive run a few 13.7 and 13.8. This spring I hope to have a CA header/downpipe so I should drop a couple tenths.
