But those things put out probably well over 600hp. Racing Supra's are effin beasts.

And you butt dyno major problems with a car, especially if you drive it alot.
I drove the same truck for six years, I could tell just from driving around when the spark plugs were becoming fouled, when the tire pressure was low, when the engine was overheating (no gauge), etc.
He probably IS feeling a loss in torque. He won't be driving around at WOT higher than 60mph most of the time. So the bigger pipe is probably not for him.

yea i was saying you need a balance... but i'm at work and type things quickly haha so i kinda fudged it up... don't wanna get fired haha

BackNBlack, are you black?

Cause I am. Maybe we can join forces and start a Man-Chicken love escapade on the forums! That's right! The revolution of the chicken has begun!

HOLY SHITTT DAMN YOU ADAM YOU"RE GONNA GET ME IN TROUBLE thats 2 times today I've LAWLed at work haha

on a side note

I'm getting the zzp header/Dp with 3 in" dp and a 2.5 " bolt up... because I"m not going to need a full 3" till i get alot more power, plus regardless of how much power you put out... most balts' can't put the power to the ground... so that should be a bigger priority

Edit : Guys who say going to a 3" is wrong. Post some dyno's to prove your claim's or STFU[/QUOTE]

hi im a uti grad and ive SEEN cars dyno and dyno'ed them my damn self. there is no need for 3inch exhaust on a 4cyl unless you have a turbo and its pushing serious HP. if you think im wrong they WHY is the GMPP parts exhaust SMALLER then factory for an LSJ??(the factory exhaust on the RL i had was 2.75 inches after the downpipe kink all the way back to the cat exit and then 2.5 to the resonator inlet and 2.25 out with a 4inch tip) why you may ask they made it smaller??? becuase they realized they dont need to have huge piping to get power gains or even a good exhaust note, if you think a 3inch exhaust will make any power on even a stage 2 LSJ your mistaken. a 3inch exhaust wont even make that much of a power gain on a v8... sorry seen the dyno's and rebuilt more hot rod u cars than i can think of. from a 5.0 slostang to ls1 camaro's to the tbucket ford's with 350 chevy crate motor's that i PERSONALLY tore down and rebuilt 4 times in 3 week's. seriously make sure brain is engauged BEFORE mouth is in gear. the fact that your all talking about a FACTORY ss/sc makes me laugh.. a 3 inch exhaust on it.. what a waste of money

you can't help it, " black people are genetically predisposed to liking chicken"

hell it would be my favorite food if I wasn't allergic to it

I'm still going with a 1 3/4th header, 3" downpipe and a 3" catback so i will dyno as soon as i have it installed so we can settle the argument. Until then i don't care. It's my money. Let me do what i want with it.

Elec,

Make sure to post up when you dyno. I want to see what a blown 2.4L puts down torque wise.
