Suggested Upgrades?

Im in the process of planning out all of my next upgrades and I wanted suggestions to get the most bang for my buck. Ive got stage 2 on order with injen CAI magna flow exhaust and researching PaceSetter Header and Nitrous. What other upgrades have you guys installed that either help drastically or are awsome adds

if you do those mods look for a better clutch system too
other wise you will learn it on the hard way because of those upgrades

Not true, there are many high HP high mile cars running the stock clutch.

im a graphic designer so no they arnt but that is my car and my work on the side but its not actually on my car just digital edit. Methane injection is estimated 20-30% from snow performance HP upgrade maybe around 30-40 horse power from that on top of the stage 2 so i hope to be above 275 HP by the end of this summer doesnt sound like that big of a problem. I just want all opinions and after today i should have an idea of what i want.

Next Installation:
Stage 2 GM Upgrade
Stage 2 Boost Cooler (CA)
Heat Exchange (CA)
Nitrous
Brembo Brake Kit

Still Thinking and deciding on more

heatexchanger is a good idea too

Upgrading the clutch really depends on what your going to be doing with the car. If you are going to be dumping the clutch/slipping it often because your drag racing, then yes, upgrade the clutch. But if you are just going to be driving a fast sporty car, and occasionally killing the victim next to you, then there is no reason to upgrade your clutch until it goes.

In my opinion, I would keep your clutch stock until she gives, if she does that is. Once it does or doesn't break, replace it.

Always save yourself 1k in the bank for a new clutch, thats my rule of thumb. Never touch that 1k, leave it there. Besides you will gain interest =P.

I also agree that if your going to go big, like I am, you need cooling mods. Heat exchanger, dual pass end plate, methanol injection. This will keep your iat2's lower resulting in better performance, more power, and less heat resulting in longer engine life.

Other than that the options are unlimited mate. I say go with a small pulley, 60lb injectors, grab hptuners and have some fun! Once you get your car spec'd the way you want, get hptuners and the fun will really start!

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

another question 60 lb/hr injectors are going to kill gas mileage correct? stock are 34 and stage2 are 42 correct? Also im gonna do dyno on my car this weekend i hope so we will find out what im doing now and what im doing after the rest of my upgrades. Snow performance is gonna be posting my dyno after their meth injection kit add so hopefully it all goes well

would eibach lowering springs be a good idea also? and i only drag my car about once a month but i do race the occansional asshat thats driving a rice burning pos acting like its a ferrari rev'ing it at me haha

60lbers will not lower your gas mileage, especially not with a good tune!

Its computer edited, also, I would recommend purchasing hptuners and get into tuning yourself, or have someone who knows what there doing, tune it with again, hptuners.

thx for the question answer zach haha. well can you explain the general idea of what a hp tuner does? Also question my friend the gear head says he did testing on meth injection and showed like at most 2 hp gain. Snow performance says 20-30% hp gain who should i believe?

Don't believe your gear head friend because he obviously doesn't know what hes talking about. You will see a HUGE gain when using a meth kit. Meth kits are absolutely amazing and I swear by them!

Hptuners is just software that allows you to tune your engine. You can do pretty much anything you can think of with that software. It allows you to adjust everything from when your fan comes on to whether or not you want CEL for having a cat or not having a cat to adjusting the a/f ratio to messing with the maf etc.

If theres anything else I can help you with please let me know. But no matter what, make sure you have cooling mods if your going big bro. Good luck.

hptuners is 500dollars i believe and then you have to register your car with it for 100dollars, i could be wrong though. Maybe if you buy it you can register 1 vehicle. I am not 100% sure as I have not purchased mine yet.

The meth injection is sprayed after the supercharger cooling the air. I recommend getting the TB plate for it. As far as the brand, go to www.turbotechracing.com and look around or cobalt-addiction.com I know a few people use cobalt-addiction's stuff such as the snow methanol kits etc, and some use the devil kits, its just personal preference. I will be using the snow methanol kit from cobalt-addiction.

I also recommend you get this power to the ground. If you haven't already eliminated the wheel hop, you need to do so immediately. Otherwise its pointless.
