Its kinda wierd, it goes all the way down and connects just before the cat, so iam going to get a highflow 3inch cat, and get the rest if my exhaust where the header connects and other spots all 3inch, so i will have a full 3inch setup basically.

Question

Would that header bolt up on a Redline? Any pictures or spec's? Primary length & diameter, collector length & diameter?

Thanks,
Mike

It's for the RedLine/Balt SS. Welcome fellow forum jumper. Lol. Yo ucan see the pictures on Gravana's website. 1.75" primaries, long tube, 4-1, 3" collector with adapter to 2.5" stock exhaust. Makes it's way all the way to the cat.

You have to cut your downpipe and weld this header to it. There is no flex pipe.

Our 2.75" high flow cat would work great with it!

Yeah PS headers are pretty cheap. A lot of the GM truck guys are using the longtubes...only $350ish...frkn cheap. But you get what you pay for, they fit-so so and some people have had problems with leaks...no idea if it'll be the same on the LSJ header though.

Oh Good God. I'm tired of explaining this...Go Here.

A header isn't going to damage ANYTHING on your car if it is installed correctly.

Yeah, ok. Compared to the crappy shorty headers that are out now? 5+whp for cheaper than most shorty's isn't too bad, especially when you look at the fact that the GM one atleast keeps the warranty.

Listen, I don't care what the act says. I work at a dealership, and they can void a warranty if they want to, no matter what. All they have to say is that the car was "abused", and everything is voided. Regardless, I still don't see any of these shorty header's outperforming the GM manifold enough to be worth more money.

Yup, just what we need. Yet ANOTHER shorty header.

I will say, however, as much as I dislike shorty headers, that's a sweet price. I'm curious on the quality, and how good the fitment is.

Its not a shorty header, it connects all the to the cat.

The cat is directly below the stock manifold anyway. It's a "shorty" until the collector is all the way under the car.

About $185 shipped for the painted is correct, but it is $280 for the ceramic shipped as the product is $272.xx + handling.

See that's what I thought. I'll deal with my shitty TOG header for a while longer I think....

a few friends of mine have purchased pace setter exhaust systems for their cars. They aren't the best of quality. A kid I know had an older integra with an exhaust from them installed on it, and had to return the exhaust system twice because it rusted out.

I had a header from them for my cavalier. It wasn't ceramic coated, just plain. The black heat proof paint they had on it looked like spray bomb paint, and the welds where the tubes connected to the flange were pretty crappy, and not entirely welded, more like just tacks.

Your getting what you pay for in my opinion, when it comes to a pacesetter product.
