Supercharger Grease! NOT OIL!!
Supercharger Grease! NOT OIL!!
ok guys. from what i have been reading and my understanding of the m62 blower is that eaton,gm or who ever may not have used a liberal amount of grease on the blower bearings. now the reason i am asking is
1 i searched the forums with very little luck. i saw a mention of it but that is all
2 i need to know what type of bearing grease to use
3 for reasons of going on a long trip aka (big western meet) and making sure my blower is healthy as can be.
now i am taking her off on the weekend anyways so i will be checking it. i might as well replace the grease while i am in there.
any advice would be greatly appreciated

ok, i just went through the whole thing on google. and yes your right chris88z24. i have decided NOT to take out the rotor pack and leave it alone. the reason being is becuase exactly that! "if she aint broke, leave her alone" i guess this concern is for those who have blower noise and want to rebuild.
so thats settled. but i have come up with some information after learning from google to leave your blower alone enless you need a rebuild.
you can use a lithium based grease, umm....torrington is a company that can supply it.
also you can use Husky grease Part# 00603 (very common with the m90 rebuilds)
i have made up my mind. and just changing the blower oil (ever feel your car is faster when its clean?)
lol
