just wondering here, im still learning about these engines and my friend told me to get the dealer to change the supercharger oil when i get the oil changed, so i asked the dealer the other day, they said the blower uses the oil from the engine, doesnt seem right to me, anyone got a answer for me? i dont want the dealer screwing me if they know they're wrong

 

The supercharger uses its own oil. its not pumped by the engine

its not hard to change, but its usually only recommended at 100k+ miles.

I changed mine when I changed my supercharger coupler. it was easy.

 

Lol that's not right at all. You can get supercharger oil from ZZP.

 

alright, i figured they were trying to screw me hahai dunno what it would be in miles, but the car has just over 98500kms on it

 

thats 61205 miles.

its up to you, some do it to keep the blower's longevity. Its not hard and pretty cheap. ZZP Sells the oil.

 

well when i picked the car today i asked again about the supercharger oil, and once again, they said its a closed system and doesnt have its own oil
