Supercharger Porting...
can this be done with a dremel tool by myself? i want to get this done but i'm afraid the cost of taking it to a shop will suck big time, so i was thinking that maybe i can do this myself. has anyone done it themselves? if so any suggestions or tips on what to do & use for the job?
Just be careful, those how-tos are incorrect in light of the new info from Eaton. They open up the outlet, which shouldn't be done as it kills the efficiency of the blower.
Just make a smooth transition between the two diamaters on the inlet, round off the sharp edges on the outlet, and weld the silencer holes shut and you're done.

The silencers recirculate a bit of boost back to the blower, so if they are closed off then it will make slightly more boost at the same RPM. There is where the extra heat comes from.
Do a minute port job, like less than an 1/8", and smooth and clean the rough edges to the exiting port. Let the air flow smoothly!
