It's been talked about on the forum, nothing from GM.

From the Ecotec build guide, 300hp is attainable with the stock supercharger. You will need higher compression pistons, and a smaller supercharger pulley however. (according to the guide)

I would raise compression first, that way you wouldn't have to spin the S/C as fast and it wouldn't take as much power from the engine.

The most probable solution was a Wipple I think 1600ax or something like that. The Eaton M90 has too long of a snout.

EDIT: both would require custom computer tunes

I used to own a Grand Prix GTP and was looking at various mods for it and if I recall you could port out the M-90 to an M-112 which is what they put on the Cobra's. I know it was costly and required bigger internals but it was worth the gain in HP. Anyone know if we could turn our M-62 into an M-90 or something in that area. I know it will void warrenty and all that but just curious.

People have talked about it, but I have yet to see a post where someone actually did it. I don't know if it would make it equivalent to an M90 or not. Someone might do it after the stage kits come out, that way the computer can manage the extra air flow.

Ok I seen one set of dyno results posted with the following mods:

Piggy Back ecu, smaller pulley, intake, catback exhaust, headers, injectors, and thats all I can think was on the car from the top of my head. This guy was dyno'd at 275hp so is 300hp really that far away???
