does anyone know how to wire up a tach with shift light yea i kno the tach is pointless but i got an autometer tach for free so i said screw it it has a red/green/black/and white wire if anyone knows can u please help me thanks !!!!

 

go to autometers web site and i think they might have a wiring guide you can check out or even download

 

opps. you might want to check if the cobalts have a pulse setting or rotations. I know my 99 cavalier had a pulse setting. I know the cavaliers had a distribuless igination system. If that is the case with the cobalts, you might have to send it off to autometer to be re-calibrated.

 

good luck. i also got a tach for free and bought the tach adapter and could not get the damn thing to work. but if you need the tach adapter it is new in the box and ill sell it for 50 shipped.

 

i got it all set up lights power ground i wired it up to my dimmer but the rpm setting i can not figure out i mean do i run it to my crank timing scensor cuz right now its wired to my #1 cylinder and it aint working i dunno y if anyone knows please help
