Tag stage 1 or stage 2

I need some help deciding on what Tag stage kit to buy. I have a 06' ss/sc with gm stage 2ca 2.79" pulley, injen cai, and gmpp exhaust.
The Tag stage 1 kit has:
2.86" pulley
60# injectors
hp tune
spark plugs

Tag Stage 2 kit has:
2.6" pulley
60# injectors
hp tune
gm stage 2 belt
spark plugs

My question being since I have the gm stage 2 already I probably won't notice that much of a difference if I get the tag stage 1. I was thinking about just getting the 60# injectors and Stage 2 hptune. Keeping my 2.79" pulley on. Anyone have some imput for me......Thanks

injectors and a retune. easire and cheaper than the whole kit. plus, as you know, the pulleys are only $60 at zzp. so upgrading to a 2.6 is only $60+ 5 allen key bolts away.

you might wanna think about getting a second heat exchanger though.

Yeah but upgrading to a 2.6 also involves cooling mods.

My only question is, is there a difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 tune?

Yes there is a difference. I'm know a couple of the guys at working with Tag on these cars! We have a huge meet on May 5th, probably 50 cobalts for tune/bbq day! Do I hear ROAD TRIP!!

Yes they are different tunes.
Tag has dyno tune several different cars with different setups and came up with these great tunes RG4 has Tag Stage 1 distilion has kinda between the two, custom tune with a 2.7 and Mase has the Tag Stage 2+ on his Redline. But again when you go to a Tag stage 2 you will want to look in to further cooling mods like water/meth or a dual pass I/C.
The Boys at Tag do great work and have assembled some great kits here, trust me I live 5minutes away and have spent many hours there while they work on friends cars, shop cars and even the infamous Turbalt (Turbo Cobalt SS/SC making over 300hp) they do GREAT work
