Taking the cat out

im pretty sure my cat is clogged due to i lost to a stock ss/sc from a 40 roll by 2 cars

so if i just take the cat off and put a 2.5 pipe there to replace it will i lose power? cause im losing power in my exhaust somewhere

and if i did this my friend would clear the code...and do some tuning

You're running a Stage 2 Tune with a 2.85" and stock injectors?

Doesn't sound too smart...

if the car is still under warranty, you might as well take it to the dealer to make sure it is a clogged cat.

well if your cat was actually clogged, you'd probably have other divability issues......how does the car drive???/ does it rev-up all the way to 7k? run smooth?

if you had a clogged cat you would have a check engine light and a code for catalyst insufficient, you may have a bad injector or even a clogged injector, try some injector cleaner. maybe the car is leaning out which is VERY bad. let the dealer take a look at it.
