Taking motor out??? need HOW TO

Hey guys I blew my motor and now it sits in my garage. I know there is a GM Catalog with step by step diresctions on how to take motor out but I cannot find it. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I just hope you have a way to lift the car. Otherwise it will be a pain getting the engine out.

all joking aside, good luck, i've only removed engines (not LSJ's) from the top.

Tis a pain to remove from the top...... Best way is to lift the car and drop the cradle

It is easier in the Cobalt to drop it out the bottom.

ive done 2 engines in other peoples cars, both ive done from the top. only because it what i was used to, but from other peoples builds, taking it out from below seems pretty easy. if you do decide to do from the top do yourself a favor and get a engine leveler. almost a most to move it around the abs unit.

how far are you from the md - pa line? im about an hour from york
