we have a local redline here in the club, im sure i can get my hands on his engin bay to get some measurement hahaahha, so he can make one for them aswell, just need measurment for the mounting braket, and the dimensions of the box u guys need; hell if you wanna run outside and get them that would be nice

include pics if you can, and label the diemnsion on the pics for the mounting braket(like how it will mount where the airbox goes for the 2.2/2.4)

would you care to elaborate? i dont see the benefit of a tank T'ed into the stock system other than to help bleed air and ensure coolant is always full. Would it not be better to have the added coolant circulating in the system, so it can actually help in the heat dissipation? The tank would still work as a great way to remove air bubbles too, since as soon as the air bubble reached the tank, it would just float up to the top of the tank. You just need to put the inlet barb near the top/middle of the tank, and the outlet barb at the bottom. You can still run the 1/4" bleeder fitting at the top as well, though I couldnt use it since im only running an aftermarket system with no barb like the stock HE has

need to know the A and B , is see you guys bracket does not have a hole, or stuf coming off so you would have to drill your ownbolt thru it, so i guess sending it non drill would be the best bet , and just let you guys drill ur own hole and run your own bolt with but on the bottom to tighten it would be the best bet, just need dimensions, our local ion will be out of town until monday

Dimensions as shown in post 12 on my 2006 SS/SC are: A= 5.75", B= 4.25", C= 1.0"

Hope this helps, I have been waiting for a tank.
Really appreciate your efforts with this.

no not exactly like that, but that is where the tank will go and that is how the line will be routed on the bottom i dont like polished, i hate anything that shines that much, now black chrome is another story

It's aluminum & you can paint it what ever you want, I did it because of the show factor & competeing for Best of class's, so far so good. It serves it's purpose, plus if it scratches I can remove it fast...if it's painted, it's got to be repainted otherwise you loose points!

its not as easy to scratch powdercoating u'd have to intentionally scratch it

or drop a wrench, but whatever I like polished & you like powdercoating. I can tell you tho coatings make it retain more heat longer, Polished dont...it has less surface tension & trust me it still gets warm in that reservoir.

I believe this will be a problem with 1 line in setup on the stock system, The system is closed & has a 5 psi cap, when you give the fluid that much room to expand it will slow it thru the manifold...kinda of acting like a damper on plumbing in homes.( Meaning the reservoir will fill up & when you turn it off the fluid will go back down!) The neck is on the pressurized side of the pump.... so by making it bigger the pump will force the fluid into it untill it creates back pressure. I will be interested to see the outcome of these.
Mine is setup to run option B, seems it would be easier if they just included the extra bung & capped it.... other wise thats alot of money for a filler neck!
The option B setup puts the Tank on the suction side of the pump to draw fluid out of the tank, thats why you have to redo the plumbing with option B.
Just My 2 cents, lets see what happens! Had a headache last night so I didn't read all the post's!

our stock system isnt pressurized tho...you can take the cap off and itll be fine...theres a vent tube on the back side of the opt B tank, and an overflow on the stock filler neck...

Its is when it gets hot ...why do you think they put a 5 psi release cap on there , I have seen plenty of LSJ's dump fluid out of the overflow! Vent tube, They are both overflows...the stock neck is a 5 psi cap & the option B redline tank is a 14 psi cap only other lines on the option b are 1/4 line in & 3/4 line out.
Like I stated i will be interested to see the outcome, but it still seems like alot of money for just a filler neck... Fluid wise it wont help with cooling at all.

By the way you can also take the cap off a radiator...but don't open it HOT
