Question Temperature reading on speedometer...HELP

Hey guys ever since i took the bumpers off my car to paint it the "outside temp" reading just shows 3 dashes...There is a piece under the hood/motor that looks like it was plugged in to sumthing before (which was when it showed the temp.) and when we put the car back together like 4 months ago I still cant seem to figure out where the hell it goes. The dealership wants like 85$ just to look at it. i have a pic of the speedometer what it shows but i dont have a pic of the plug that does not have a home lol i know it unplugged from sumwhere so if neone knows what im taking about/where it goes that would be greatly appreciated =)

HERES THE LINK...(sorry its not a clicky thing but i forgot to put it in when i did the original post)

take the driver headlight out and remove the headlight bracket. that is where the outside temperature sensor is and you can plug it back in and you'll have the reading again.

oh the sensor is on the headlight bracket so your not wondering where it is

Did you have any body work done? If so, whoever took the bumper off or whatever forgot to plug it back in.

If you take the driver side headlight off, as well as the bracket underneath, you'll see a wire connected to the back of the driver side headlight bracket. That is your air temp sensor. Check to see if it is plugged in, if not, plug it in.
