Cat-back= Refers to the section of the exhaust that is from the catalytic converter to the muffler.

CAI= Cold Air Intake, an intake such as the K&N Typhoon Intake for the Cobalt SS Supercharged is a Cold Air Intake that replaces the stock intake system with a free-flowing system. Which equals more hp and tq (hp=Horsepower and tq= Torque)

Need more terms dicifered? Just ask...

The short shifter allows for faster shifting because you don't have to move the shifter as far to place it in gear. So with a short shifter you can row through the gears with shorter throws (smaller movements). It's based on the principle of leverage, the longer the lever the more you have to move it.

The LSD does not affect torque, it only affects traction by altering the speed at which the drive wheels turn. Try this: http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start...tial.htm&e=912
