Thermostat and evap code....
How do I replace the thermostat? I've done it on other cars before but the cobalt ss doesn't have a filler neck like I'm used to seeing. Do I need to take off the valve cover? I know that it's stuck open because my car wnt get above 150. Then I have an evap code, p0446, so where are the evap sensors? Any pics would help me out sp much...

the thermostat is on the back of the LSJ drivers side beneath the header. A big pain so i said " hey im under warranty still". 100$ copay because im on hte extended. well, my dealer tried telling me that the option B and the front mount HE made the thermostat go out. I then got in to a friendly argument with them, i just said that the systems are separate. They then said that the cooling for my "turbo" is the same coolant as the radiator. Thats why they are up front together. I then told them that im not turbo and im leaving. They said that i owe them money for diagnosis. i then laughed at them and said im not paying, it turned into an epic battle of car my car keys. I nicely said that i like the dealership. i said this is a nice place to buy cars. However, on your sign where it says sales and service... TAKE THE WORDS SERVICE OFF THE FUKING SIGN!!!! You guys cant service anyone right. Im not happy and im never coming for service again. They gave me my keys and said sorry that they cant help me. Anyway i got my thermostat done it was a pain but its fixed.

Alright, i don't even know where to begin.
First of all they are trying to get out of the warranty agreement. It's breech of contract.
I'm not that good on LSJ cars.
Are the supercharger coolant and engine coolant seperate?
I thought they were for sure.
If that's the case then you should be shoving it down their throat. Secondly, when they said "turbo" you should have asked to speak to the manager. Your car has a supercharger and is in no way shape or form the same as a turbo.
I for sure wouldn't take it back there, but I would file a grievance with the manager and try to get money out of the fact that they voided your aftermarket warranty without due cause.
