these should work!!!
these should work!!!
Weapon r has a cel eliminator that in theory should work with our cars.

Also this hasnt been talked about in a while, its the weapon r race header, it says redline, but the fitment i think would be the same for the cobalt.... **** it looks sick!!!

I just ordered this cel eliminator for the p0420. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHECK...67820810QQrdZ1
It's the cheapest out there. I'll keep you guys updated on the results.

i just installed mine on my 05 Cobalt SS S/C, but i'm afraid to say it does have some slight fitment issues. First, it was hard as **** to get in, i had to jack up my car, unbolt my steering rack and move it, take off the rear trans mount, and then remove my front sway bar in order to get it up against the engine. After fitting it behind the engine, i realized the holes were cut a little wrong and it wouldn't fit, so i had to dremel out the holes for it to even mate with the manifold studs. After that I also found out that where they MIG welded the header on primary 1 and 4, the welds were so large on the outside as to restrict the nut from screwing down on the stud, thus, I had to dremel some more
And for as the quality, i spent a couple hours dremelling down primary welds (mainly on primary 1 and 4, inside and outside) and smoothing out the 4 into 2 transition. I also added a 3" to 2.5" reducer and 3" flange to the end so there would be a better transition to my catback.
After I installed the header, primary number 1 clears the engine by less than a millimeter, and when it goes from 4 into 2 it starts to rub against the bottom of the car, pushing on the heat shield.
Also, as for the MIL eliminator that they give you, it fits, and seems to work for a bit, BUT i am still frequently getting a CEL of p0140 which has to do with the HO2S Heater Signal. This means i don't think its a great fix, but is ok if you like clearing codes once in a while.
On the plus side, i can peel out into second gear as with my shorty header and stock downpipe i was unable. Also, my torque is more evenly distributed throughout my gears causing less peaky power and more low end get go to better compliment my 3" catback.
