How do you know the chain is on the correct link/mark spot with the cover on? It takes 30 min tops to pull the front cover and put it back if you are already that far in. It takes many hours and more money to correct missed timing or possibly bent valves.

Lol, if you don't have a basic understanding of how to go about putting pistons in the car, find someone who does to help you or pay someone that knows what they are doing to do the job. Not something you want to experiement on. It's your car, i'm just being honest with you.

just picked up car from dealer, drives great, actully got a long block not a short. service writer told me that not only did the sleeve loosen up but the piston started to oval. he asked me if i beat on it or was out racing it and in my most convincing voice and face i said no i dont know what happened. hehe
