for those of u who think catless lsj's are raspy

well i got my car out, and we put a 24 inch cherry bomber with a magnaflow muffler on it and it is amazing. i will get vids up asap it sounds better than it did with stock header dp and just the magnaflow muffler. there is absolutly zero rasp it had more rasp when i had a cat flame suit actavated

hell yeah glasspacks for the win
i thought i was the onyl one dumb enough to put a glasspack on a cobalt
but they sound too damn good lol
got the JBP header, stock dp, and an 18in glasspack for my muffler.
in 2 weeks wil be a catless ZZP 3in DP with a hahn catback

after a while of having the cherrybomb the fiber glass in it is starting to wear away so its got a little rasp to it but i got a 3 in on the way to im not gonna waste the money on a new one

It will sound fine until all the fiberglass starts to melt - the exhaust will get louder and sound terrible as it ages. I personally stay the hell away from any exhaust that uses fiberglass to reduce the noise.

im catless with magnaflow res and muffler....
sounds raspy... my res is too small, only like 14in.
I'm only buzzy around 3200 - 3500 but it's annoying sounding..

my buddy had this glasspack on his jeep so im sure the fiberglasss is long gone and it still sounds fine i got a sound clip but right now im working on my car becz during filming i got engine power reduced FML this must be what happens when u try and help out the comunity lol

sounds like **** to me... am I the only one that has an exhaust that sounds half-way decent on a ss/sc? doesn't even sound like that thing has longtubes on it ::

well its not raspy it almost makes the sound like an unequal length header idk how to describe the sound but i think u guys are mistaking that for rasp its really not raspy i woulda made the video alittle longer but my engine power reduced light came on and i had to gimp it home

idk, I have a pacesetter header, 2.5"dp catted-->3" exhaust with resonator and flowmaster muffler. it sounds sick, I'll make a vid and post it on here when I get a chance. It has a very unique sound like a s/c 5 cyl.
