Yes it does, but it is also very explicit about the limitations. It clearly states; do not rev above 7000 on stock valve train and do not rev above 7000 with the 50 shot + 100 octane mode whatsoever.

GM stage tunes might be crap according to some people but I think they have quite the track record. You will have a hard time finding a reported case of a blown stage 2/3 motor using the reccomended pulley.

GMPD knows what they're doing.

I'm willing to bet alot !! Beleive it or not. And this could be a coinsadence. But a freind of mine has an 07 SS with the stage 3 on it. He tried setting he rev limiter to 8000 rpm and the first time he hit it the stock tensioner blew up, or snaped out of place of some sort. !!?? The dealer told him the tensioner was not designed to handle that many rpm's. Sounded weird to me. Needless to say he hasnt tried that again sense.
