Thoughts on this setup. Lots.
I won't be doing most of this 'til the spring (gotta save up some cash first), but what do you guys seriously think about this setup? Both in terms of how much power it might make and the overall "goodness" of it. All thoughts/comments welcome.
Ported Head
78lb Valve Springs
Valves
Ported M62
Ported Throttle-body
2.7" or 2.8" pulley (haven't decided yet)
60lb Injectors
H/E
Dual Pass w/ Option B
Spec Stage 2+ Clutch
Fidenza Flywheel
Tune
I currently have the Vibrant header/dp with the GMPP Performance exhaust, but I would upgrade to (probably) the Hahn 3" catback or CTI 3" catback.

Yea that's why I'm thinking I'll probably go with the 2.8" for now, I don't want to run meth right now because I don't feel like having to always watch it and fill it, I want to be able to go and not worry about it. Although it is awesome

Btw, Glen, put your car back in your sig, it's one of my fav's on here.
Skip these things.
Valves, Ported M62, Ported Throttle-body
The stock valves are fine as is, there really isn't much of a reason to waste money on getting the supercharger ported, if you want more power from the TB area go with the ls4 throttle body. Also the 3 inch exhaust is a good idea because it will lower your boost, I also recommend the 2.8 pulley so your not over spinning the blower.

Valve springs aren't necessarily a bad idea, but the question is whether or not they are worth it.
Some people will argue that stock valve springs are good to 7500 rpms, I personally think they are 100% stable up to 7200 rpms and that they can run up to 7400 rpm without to to much abuse being taken. So the question is whether or not a few hundred rpm's more is worth the extra money. Staying in your power band longer is a great thing, but with stock cams your not going to keep producing power all the way up to 8 grand. However the longer you are in your power band the better. All in all valve springs are great, it's just whether or not they are worth it for you.

As for valve springs, the OEM's are good. If you're thinking about porting the s/c, you should consider porting the intake manifold as well. Just make sure you know what you're doing, or take it to someone that knows what they're doing. A guy from this forum (i think it's ebristol) does pretty good job.
