guys as the tittle say i have an issue with my throtle body. everytime am goin to turn on the car it makes a non stop tickling sound. as soon as i turn on the car i get a power engine reduce and a engine check ligh on. the codes where 3 about the throtle body. does this mean it has fail on me? or do i have any solutions?

I don't really know, but I would suggest maybe taking it off and giving it a good clean! see what that does and go from there!

 

took it off and cleaned it. problem remained...

 

did you have the codes before you took it off or was it are result of trying to clean it?

 

i checked for codes before i took it off since it was making a very weird noise.

yea it had 3 codes before i got it off all of them about the thrttle body. i took it off, i cleaned it and problem remained. i bought a new one and aparently the one i had fail on me. the new one is working fine now and car is doing good thank god.

 

Bad TB bro. Check with Stonny, I think he had a similar problem and had to replace his.

I sold all my spare TB's I think, so I can't help ya with this one. Sorry.

bro i also finally got that fixed. i ordered the manifold from zach06 here on the forums and finally got rid of that issue. and the same day we replaced the cracked mani witht the new one, the throttle body got fucked up lol. so thankfully richard had his and replaced it for that one. thanks bro

it was throwing 3 codes i cant remember what they were tho but all of them said either throttle body malfunction and syuff similar to that.
