top speed on a stock SS supercharged anyone?
Yeah, most magazines and GMPD rate it as 145 MPH (234 Km/h).
That said, some people on the site claim to have achieved over 150 MPH stock. One person (forget who) has a video of him doing 147 MPH, but then he shut down while it was still pulling (video a.ka. "The Flying Gatorade Bottle"). That said, it is possible that you may get more than 145 MPH if you are running downhill or with a decent tailwind. So I would assume GM's 145 MPH is pretty accurate.

top speed
i had mine over 145 but i backed off cause i was scared. i was on a lonely strech of old highway and i was thinking if i hit a pot hole/grease spot/peice of tire im gonna be in real bad condition. so i backed off. but i will say this the car pulled the entire way to 145. i had had my cobalt for about 3 month at that point ant that was te first night i really opened her up.
i had 3 kills that night
old mustang the 99 body style
older riced out civic hatch that i ate alive
and a old probe or something that actually gave me a decent run but i had him by a nose
keep in mind i was still learning how to lauch the SS/SC
i was inl ove from that night on.

Living in Nebraska has at least one advantage, miles of open flat roads.
I am 100% stock and have put the needle just past 150mph, I went to Average MPH in the DIC and hit reset and it read 151mph.
I tried to take a picture but all I got was glare. I let off to change the settings on my camera and when I snapped a pic I was allready at 145mph.

Just because your speedo says some number does not make it right. No Car mag has got over 150mph and they use radar or GPS which is 100% accurate.
Now saying that, a broken in car will typically pick up a few mph over when it was new.

things never get fuzzy when your going fast, nor do they start to look like they slow down any at all.... that's all hollywood stuff. when you're going 150+ **** is coming at you pretty clearly and fast
But in your case, when I said things got fuzzy for me, I meant clear and fast.

And if it makes any bit of difference regarding my eyes, I have 20/15 vision and can read about half the line on the 20/10 line. I've been asked to attend OTS to become a fighter pilot because of my vision.
as i have lived in germany for 2 years, and drove the authobahn almost daily, we've rented 911 turbos before and hit around 200mph, it doesn't get fuzzy even at 200mph... you've watched fast and furious too many times
