...most of you guys complaining are so heavy footed with the gas, that's why you feel a nudge or some kind of uncomfortable feeling when driving. there's no need to shift at any given RPM especially high ones to make it shift smoother, plus its just a waste of gas. the lower rpm you shift and the smoother you do it without making the engine work hard, the better you would do with gas mileage, not to mention longer clutch life.

...i shift between 2-2500 rpm for everday driving. if you ride with me, you would hardly feel me shift like an automatic. just get used to it, there's no need to be worried about the clutch at such low mileage unless you've already beat the crap out of it with bad driving!

so what about me. i got a 05 with almost 70k now. i know how to drive stick. been driving this(my first standard tranny) for a year. i agree with all you guys and its been helpfull. unfortuneately my clutch has no friction zone. it lets out as high as it possibly can BUT. it doesnt slip even under wot. i havent tried doing a burnout or chirpping gears with it in this condition but i dont believe it would be able to. my brother told me that it could be the fluid in the slave and that i should change it and bleed my clutch. true? not trying to thread jack i appologize. just cant find my answer anywhere

I'm so glad other people are having the same problem! the shift from 1 to 2 is only bad when I'm driving like I'm racing, you just need to find the sweet spot and its perfect!

i found out the problem with mine....after i bought the car..the salesman went out before i picked the car up( loan was approved at closing time and picked car up next morning) and was doing burnouts and revvin the hell out of it and dropping the clutch before i came to get it...so thats why my clutch was screwing up on me...before i even got near boost it would just slip..luckly it was good enough without scorching the flywheel so i could save some $$ and get my stage 2...which works like a dream
