tried to do a lil top speed run and...

it was a closed circuit where i did the top speeds as well

i went up to 147 when i was stock

got inectors,maf-t,2.7,intake,and downpipe and the car made it to 140 and it wouldnt go any faster

i let off the throttle and i went to give it gas again and the car felt like it had no ***** whatsoever i then procedded to slow down and go down to second gear and i floored it and i then had almost little to no power, i continued to slow down and decided to see what happens when i launched it.. lemme put it this way i had NO JUMPING OR SPINNING OF MY TIRES

i let the car sit for a day and then i drove it hard and it felt fine again but every time i go fast then let off, the car feels like **** for almost a day

and i put fuel injector cleaner and drygas in the car

WTF is wrong?

i personally think i have a bad fuel pump but i need help cause it doesnt make any sense

you probably need more tuning or a bigger pulley. Ineffiency is whats causing your car to run like that. Either the car is not getting enough fuel or the blower is causing a decrease in power from being overspun. Put on a 2.9 or 3.0 if you can and do the same run just to see if you can go faster.

it has to be the tuning. The car is either running really rich or too lean.

its probably the clutch getting too hot and slipping.

I personally agree with the it's either your running too rich or too lean. Also, were you going uphil when you did the run or were you on level ground?

Could be the clutch.

What about the engine over heating and sending itself into a limp mode by pulling lots of timing. Then not putting the timing back in until the car cools off.

+1 for heatsoak and pulled timing. You should get an IAT/KR gauge to keep an eye on that.

i doubt the clutch would be slipping like that. i would consider that merely a possibility

There is pre-ignition and detonation. What is Pre-detonation?

all you gotta do it is turn the car off and when u turn it back on itll be fine. I had that happen to me to when I first got my intense kit, I would always win the first race, go up to 130 and then lose all of them and the car would feel sluggish and it wouldnt advance. If you had a wideband you would see this happens because the car richens out too much. The pcm senses the car running at really hot temperatures, only reached when you go over 120 and signals the injectors to throw a lot more fuel. messing up ur tune richening your car and becoming really really slow.

get a wide band o2 , fuel pressure gauge , and a gauge or laptop that will allow you to moniter the knock retard , and iat temps , and timing

the maf thing you have prob isnt doing the job you need it to , and needs to be changed , but with out the other info from above said readings your not gonna know which way to go with tuning

The problem is most likely torque managment and things like catalytic overheat protection which pulls timing if the cat gets to hot. Little crap like that is all over the PCM code. Get an aftermarket PCM such as the one we sell.
