hey guys im sure this has come up before but i am currently running gm2 with a 2.9 and i wanna go to 60's and a 2.8 do you guys think that getting a trifecta tune is a bad idea...

 

well it depends, do you have a tuning shop close by?

 

its the best option IF you cant get a decent custom tune local.

 

i live right outside of pittsburgh and i no there are 1 or 2 but i only here negitive things about them. and i dont wanna drive very far just to get a tune. i just wanna make sure that i have a safe tune

 

i would recommend it. i have one and have had it for about 4k miles on it no probs and looked over it on hptuners and it lookd almost perfect couldnt get more power out of it. but i suggest waiting til u get the 60s and 2.8 and fyi 2.9 maxes out the 42s. mine are maxed out on the stg2 pulley 110%

 

thanks. and yea i am aware about the 2.9 running at 100% plus duty cycle thats why i wanna go to the 2.8 and 60's i just wanna make sure i get a decient tune thats all

 

ya np. wat other mods do u have? and if u buy the cable when u buy the tune it will be about 480 but he will do retunes for free.

ya ur iats should be good, i suggest getting a header b4 buying 60s and 2.8
