Is this true?

That the stock cobalt ss sc catbacks tubing is 2.5 inch and the only thing restricting it is its stock muffler? because someone told me there is no difference between a catback 2.5inch tubing on a ss/sc and all you would need is a axle back exhaust to get the same gains?

Yes and no... parts of the tubing are 2.25 inches and some parts are actually 2.5... I do believe the tubing on a aftermarket exhaust will be mandrel bent, allowing better airflow compared to the stock u-channel bends, which constricts the metal at some points in the bend....

ya i figured im actually looking into the tsudo catback because i heard some vids of it and it sounds like sex i didnt ever see that it costs so little until after i heard it so seeing it for a low price and still sounding nice im down!
